The Apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 12:5 “So we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.” The church of Jesus Christ is not a building or an organization. The Church is people. It is you!
We are to keep our eyes on the Lord of the church, Jesus Christ. We are to be true to the tasks he has called us to fulfill. WE ARE TO BE A CHURCH THAT IS A.L.I.V.E.
ADORE GOD IN WORSHIP
The highest calling of every believer is his or her conscious act to enter the presence of the Lord to hear from Him, to be moved by Him, and to live committed to Him and changed by that commitment.
LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR THROUGH SERVING
A normal outcome of salvation, meeting another person’s needs in Jesus’ name. Every member is a minister.
INCORPORATE THE FAMILY OF GOD THROUGH FELLOWSHIP
The obligation of every believer to join a local church and to give time, energy, and resources to build the family of God numerically and spiritually.
VOICE THE MESSAGE OF CHRIST THROUGH EVANGELISM
By our lifestyle and by our words, presenting the gospel to an unbeliever and asking that person to repent of his of her sins, trust Christ, and follow Him as Lord.
EDUCATE THE PEOPLE OF GOD THROUGH DISCIPLESHIP
Where one believer teaches and trains other believers to grow spiritually to be like Jesus.
THE BLOOD THAT FLOWS THROUGH OUR CHURCH THAT KEEPS US ALIVE IS PRAYER!
